Service of Remembrance | December 17 | 5:30-6:30pm
We are offering a special time of worship & prayer for those who have lost a loved one whom they are missing during the Christmas season. The Longest Night service is a quiet and contemplative service. If you or someone you know is in need of comfort, this service can be a source of peace and connection. If you are grieving, we invite you to attend and encourage those whom you know are grieving to attend. Consider supporting a grieving friend by attending with them. Contact Amber Casler for more information.
Lessons & Carols | December 21 | 11:00am
The story of Christ's birth is told in words, but it comes to life in music. In this service we will share the Scriptures and songs of the season as we remember God's promises and celebrate their fulfillment in Jesus' birth in Bethlehem. It will be a beautiful music filled traditional service.
Contact Gabby Maes for more information.
Christmas at Woodlake
Volunteers Needed
Amidst all the festive decorations and music at Christmas, we will celebrate the birth of Jesus and the light He brings to the world with FOUR services. The whole community is invited to sing, give prayers of thanksgiving and lift our voices with Christmas songs as together we welcome baby Jesus. Hundreds of people will come to Woodlake UMC and we will be ready. We need your help with directing traffic, greeting and ushering. Please consider signing up for one of these important jobs.
