In improv comedy, team members use the practice "Yes, and…" This means they accept the sketch premise before them and bring their own addition: A character, idea, plot development, prop, anything that can move the sketch forward or bump it in a new direction. In this series, we will borrow the idea of “yes, and". We will encourage folks who have not yet done so to say "yes" to God's call, rejoice with the folks in our church have already said yes (Yes to faith in Christ, yes to being part of this faith community, etc.) And we will invite them to take the next step, to say, “Yes, AND…” in order to go deeper and farther in their faith and service. We will look at the stories of people who took that next step, and the ways God used those “yes, ands” to touch the lives of others.
