Generosity and Financial Health
Develop a Master Financial Plan, establish a Stewardship Committee and investigate the optimal use of our abundant property – each contributing to the overall financial health of Woodlake UMC.
Financial generosity is a key Christian virtue that enables us to trust God with our resources. Financial stewardship is not a campaign, but a way of life. Generosity creates an incentive to demonstrate financial wisdom in our personal lives, helps people resist a culture of materialism, and participate in the Christ-honoring work of God’s reign in the world. Our current financial health was identified as a factor that limits creativity, increases anxiety and is in need of improvement.
