Elementary
Our elementary classes feature a large group/small group model. Children have the opportunity to worship and learn from the Bible in large group. In small group, they learn through games, service projects, activities, discussion questions, and prayer. They make lasting relationships with their class and their small group leaders when they have fun together over time.

FINDING THE ELEMENTARY AREA
If this is your first visit to Woodlake UMC, please stop by the Connection Center in the lobby and we will escort you to the Elementary area.
AGE
GROUPS
We have sections for different age groups of children. Rooms have large, easy-to-see signs by grade on first-floor classroom doors.
REGISTERING YOUR CHILDREN
All elementary children must be registered in our system. You may register at the check-in desk in front of the nursery.

HOLIDAY
BREAKS
We do like to give our dedicated leaders a break and do so primarily on holiday weekends. All breaks will be announced in the weeks prior to the break.
Saturday or Sunday?
Whether you are joining us on Saturday evenings or Sunday mornings, we want to make it as easy as we can for you to find the place for your child to have a wonderful time learning how much they are loved by God and by us! Take a look at the different weekly programming we have available for our Elementary Kids.
SATURDAYS

Saturdays | 5:30pm
Starts and ends in Worship

Saturday is a time of family focused worship where children begin and end each service with their parents or guardian in worship. During the sermon time, children come to Room 118 for a lesson from our Grow Curriculum and then return to worship.
SUNDAYS
Ages K-5th
Sundays | 9:30 & 11am | Children's Wing

Using the large group/small group strategy, elementary kids build relationships with each other and with their adult small group leader. Parents will drop off their child and pick them up from their small group location. Rooms have large, easy-to-see signs by grade on first floor classroom doors.
