Helping Hands

August 6-7, 2020

Helping Hands is a Virginia Conference Children's Mission Event hosted by Woodlake United Methodist Church in Chesterfield, VA. Join us for an exciting two-day mission experience for children offered to all member churches of Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church.

This is for rising 4th-6th graders, parents and adult leaders.

WHAT IS THE COST?

The cost of Helping Hands is $50 per person
Cost includes a t-shirt, meals, snacks, program costs and overnight stay at our Woodlake UMC facility.

WHO CAN

SIGN UP?

This 2-day mission event is for rising 4th - 6th graders.
Parents and adult leaders who are part of the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church are welcome.

WHAT TO BRING?

Sleeping Bag
Change of Clothes
Washcloth & Towel
Pillow
Old Tennis Shoes
Waterbottle
Toiletries
Rain Jacket/Hoodie

WHAT TO EXPECT?

We do not have shower facilities.
Participants will be sleeping on the floor, single blow up mattresses are allowed.
Personal electronics and other expensive items are the responsibility of the individual church but are not allowed in worship, small group or during mission time.
