Men's Basketball
We currently offer Men's Basketball every Monday evening, 6:30 - 8:00 pm, at the Woodlake Child Development Center gym (2nd building). All men (18 or older) are welcome anytime! No need to sign-up. Those who play on a regular basis are asked to contribute towards the rental fee of the gym. For more information, contact the church at 739-4535.

Upward Soccer
We’re excited to announce that WUMC offers the Upward soccer program for Kindergarten - 5th grade boys & girls. Upward is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed to promote salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child. Upward provides opportunities for all believers, no matter what denomination, to become meaningfully involved in the ministries the church. You will have the opportunity to pray for the program, coach a team, referee a game, share a devotion, and develop relationships in order to open avenues of ministry to the people of the community participating in the program.

PALS Recreation Sports
A Recreational Program for Special Needs Children

Who: Children ages 4 - 12 with a range of physical, emotional and social difficulties are welcome to this program that will use trained youth helpers and adults to meet each child’s special needs while providing a supportive, nurturing environment that promotes physical activity and cooperative play. THIS PROGRAM IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, so invite anyone who may be interested.

When: The program will begin Sunday, September 13th from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. and will continue at that time on Sunday afternoons until Sunday, October 25th.

Where: Woodlake United Methodist Church – Hampton Park Campus Recreational Field, located at 15640 Hampton Park Drive, Chesterfield, VA 23832

Cost: The registration fee is $25, but scholarships are available.

What: Do you have or know a child with unique physical, mental or social needs? Then invite them to participate in PALS Recreation! Shining Light Community Outreach Foundation, a 501(c)3 created to further the ministries of Woodlake UMC, is excited to announce our second season of PALS Recreation, where children with special needs are invited to our Hampton Park campus to enjoy playing soccer and other recreational opportunities. This season of activities is open to the public. Youth or adult helpers are also encouraged to sign up using the contact information above.

Men's Softball League
The Men's Ministry is sponsoring a men's softball league. The league will play in the Southside Churches Recreation Association at Iron Bridge Park (off Iron Bridge Rd. and Rt. 288). Come out to support our team on Friday nights this summer!
