UMW Cookie Walk/Bake Sale
The ladies of UMW are welcoming donations of assorted holiday treats (4-6 dozen) - cookies, candy, cakes, bread, pies, etc. Proceeds benefit programs sponsored by the United Methodist Women. Woodlake’s UMW consists of three Circles—HOPE, JOY and FRIENDSHIP—that meet the needs of women in all seasons of life. Each Circle meets September through June, encouraging fellowship and participating in a wide variety of programs. We support numerous ministry areas of the church, both locally and globally. Here are just some of the ways in which we serve with compassion and share our gifts and talents to point others to Christ...
e Sponsor the annual Women’s Retreat
e Keep an extensive library of books and resources, open to all persons
e Provide funeral receptions
e Assemble UMCOR health kits
e Stock the WUMC food pantry
e Assist with C.A.R.I.T.A.S.
e Host annual Cookie Walk
e Support many WUMC areas that focus on helping women and children
HOPE CIRCLE
Meets in Room 101 at the Hampton Park Campus on the 2nd Tuesday every month at 9:30 - 11:30 pm for fellowship and program. Contact "T" Butz or Carol Wetherbee, Hope Coordinators, for more information.
JOY CIRCLE
Meets in Room 101 at the Hampton Park Campus on the 3rd Tuesday every month at 9:45 - 11:45 pm for fellowship and a program. Childcare is provided in the nurseries for a nominal fee. Contact Vanessa Carns or Angel Prioleau, Joy Coordinators, for more information.
FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE
Meets in Room 101 at the Hampton Park Campus on the 1st Thursday every month 7:00-9:00 pm. Contact Betty Walker or Sandy Delp, Friendship Coordinators, for more information.

Funeral Reception Assistance
If you feel so called, we are looking for individuals to assist during funeral receptions throughout the year. If this ministry interests you, please contact Sue Vaughan via email or call the church office at 739-4535.
UMW Library: Check out our GREAT collection!
As you all know, we have been gathering a collection of excellent reading material in the UMW Library for quite some time now. All Circle members are welcome to borrow books from our library located in the UMW book cabinet in Room 205-206 at the Hampton Park Campus. We use the honor system so please be sure to sign your name and name of the book on the sign-out sheet provided! There is no check-out time frame but we do ask that you return your book in a reasonable amount of time! Happy Reading!
